Tandem Master Cylinder Made from durable lightweight aluminum with a large capacity plastic reservoir and dual outlet bores, this master cylinder utilizes standard O.E.M. internal components. Standard factory mounting bolt holes can be adapted to racing pedal assemblies with an optional mounting adapter bracket (including push rod and dust boot). This lightweight (2.5 pounds) reliable master cylinder is used for Drag Racing, Late Model Stock Cars, Street Rod and Off Road applications.
Howe G3 Master Cylinders
The G3 is the next generation in master cylinder design moving the fluid ports away from the piston seal. This design allows the size and weight to be substantially reduced. Conventional master cylinders are made with piston seals passing over the fluid intake port slowly eating away the seal. The G3 Master Cylinder eliminates this problem drastically extending seal life. A bidirectional seal is used instead of the common cup seal that can draw air when retracting. Accepts a remote or directly attached fluid reservoir requiring only 4 ounces of fluid from new to worn out pads. An optional shield may be attached to increase protection from rocks and heat. If used with remote reservoirs or mounted above the caliper the system will self bleed due to the new port design. Simply open each caliper bleeder. Reservoir cap bellows allows the system to be completely sealed. Designed for racing purposes, not intended for highway use.
