They are extra wide for added tooth strength and lightened to make them 2-lbs lighter than standard gears. They will fit all standard quick change rears including Winters Sprint. Winters 2nd Generation Quick Change

 

The Winters 2nd Generation Quick Change takes performance to a new level. Full size, lightweight magnesium housed rear axle features a 8" diameter, 12-bolt ring gear that is 20% smaller and 20% lighter than traditional rears, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. Unit offers increased acceleration and de-acceleration, particularly in Crate Motor applications. Rear is sold less tubes and popular options include pinion posi-lock (WIN8104), heat treated lower shaft (WIN8106), aluminum spool (WIN8115), heavy duty cover (WIN8137), 6-rib machined side bells (WIN8186P), 2nd Generation 8" diameter 4.11 ring and pinion (WIN8111-8S), and 2nd Generation Sprint Center short (WIN8133-8S), Less Tubes.
