Trans & Rear End Oil

AMSOIL SEVERE GEAR Synthetic Extreme Pressure (EP) Lubricants are premium grade gear oils specifically engineered for maximum performance in severe duty applications. These state-of-the-art AMSOIL formulations feature an exclusive blend of high viscosity, shear stable synthetic base oils and an extra treatment of high-performance additives. AMSOIL SEVERE GEAR Synthetic EP Lubricants maintain their viscosity for long-lasting protection against metal-to-metal contact. The proprietary AMSOIL additives form an iron-sulfide barrier coating on gear surfaces, providing the ultimate line of defense against wear, pitting and scoring. AMSOIL SEVERE GEAR lubricants help prevent "thermal runaway" - a phenomenon caused by a lubricant's inability to control friction and increased heat under high-stress conditions. By controlling thermal runaway, AMSOIL SEVERE GEAR Synthetic EP Lubricants inhibit rapid lubricant degradation and component damage. Equipment runs better and lasts longer with AMSOIL SEVERE GEAR Synthetic EP Lubricants.
Pro-Tuff Gear Lube Treatment

Pro-Tuff Gear Lube Treatment

Believe us!! You cannot afford not to use this stuff!! Add 3 ounces per quart of gear lube. Proper use eliminates excessive transmission and rear-end heat and failure. Reduces gear lube temperature up to 38 degrees. Triples gear life in transmissions, rear-ends, transaxles. Stops blueing and galling, absorbs shock and loading. Eliminates ring and pinion failure on short tracks. See up to 4 horsepower on chassis dyno.
Redline Heavy Shockproof Gear Oil

Redline Heavy Shockproof Gear Oil

  • Film thickness greater than an SAE 75W250, yet low fluid friction like 75W90
  • For heavily-loaded racing differentials and transmissions, problem gearboxes
  • Many performance racing applications.
  • Not recommended for most synchro applications due to the product's extreme slipperiness
Redline Lightweight Shockproof Gear Oil

Redline Lightweight Shockproof Gear Oil

  • Excellent low-temp flow, improved cold shifting
  • Film thickness greater than an SAE 75W140, yet low fluid friction like 80W gear oil or 30W motor oil
  • For racing differentials under moderate loads
  • Popular in racing transmissions like Hewland and other Road Racing dog-ring boxes, Bert and Brinn for Stock Cars, G-Force, and Liberty clutchless for Drag Racing
Driven Break-In Gear Oil

Driven Break-In Gear Oil

Driven Petroleum-based Break-In Gear Oil allows gear teeth to break-in quickly while improving their surface finish. By polishing the gear teeth, micro-pitting is eliminated to improve gear durability. A smooth gear surface can carry more load and last longer.

Circle Track “New” Ring & Pinion Break-In Procedure
  • With car still on jack stands and rear end filled with proper amount of Driven Break-In gear lube, run for approximately 2-3 minutes in forward and reverse.
  • Run 6 to 8 laps at slow to medium speeds, let cool down at least 30 minutes.
  • Run 6 to 8 more laps at medium speed then 2-3 hot laps and then let cool down at least 30 minutes.
